Downtown Portland's First Thursday Art Walk

From April 2006 to April 2009 Vorpal Space operated an art gallery on the corner on NW Broadway and Flanders streets in the Everett Station, a community of galleries and artist's lofts which is owned by Art Space, a national non-profit organization. In June 2009 we moved to a new space on the second floor of the Everett Station, where we remain a part of the vibrant network of galleries art spaces in this area, and a regular participant in the First Thursday Art Walk.

Every First Thursday thousands of art patrons walk the circuit of art galleries and studio spaces. Below are some photos from various First Thursday events curated by Vorpal Space:

Flowers from the Anvil (December 2008)

Premier Jour (May 2008)

Necessary Territories (March 2008)

Pin-Up Propaganda (August 2007)

Circus & Abstractions (July 2007)

abject Pogrom (May 2007)

Sleeper Cells (March 2007)

Readymechs (May 2006)

BodyMod (July 2006)
