BodyMod -- photography by Circle23 In july 2006 Vorpal Space presented BodyMod a series of photographs by local photographer Circle23. More than any other single photographer Circle23 [circle23.com] has documented the underground subculture of modern body modification and ritual mutilation. Indeed, Circle23's photography has in many ways defined this genre of images. Featured prominently on the popular portal site www.bodymod.org, his work has been viewed by millions of people worldwide, and received many accolades. His work has appeared in Bizarre Magazine [UK], Gothic Beauty Magazine, and Serpent Magazine. His photographs have been accepted for the 2005 and 2006 Seattle Erotic Art Festival, and he recently won 1st place at the Boston Fetish Flea Market, a juried art show. A Circle23 photograph will appear on the Cover of Secret Magazine's forthcoming book Extreme 2. The following are just some of the images from the BodyMod show. All are still available as prints.
